Dormouse update

We have just received the results of the last dormouse nest box check (done at the end of October) and we have had the best results that we have ever had! We have 24 dormouse boxes on Wenlock Edge and 11 of them had a dormouse nest or the adorable mammal inside (in one box there were 3 dormice!). In 2017 we are going to install 26 more boxes to provide even more suitable summer nest sites and to further encourage our resident population to grow.
